Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. The group released Dopamina which was his top charting sophomore album the year following. Later in 2021, he performed as a duo with TINI on her most streamed song Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was raised within a musical family, since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. According to Turizo, music was a mandatory element of his existence. When a young boy, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. His initial choice of career was to become a vet however, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn to sing with the help of a Cuban teacher. What happened was that he realized his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
