MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. In Medellin the year of Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN the debut album of his long-playing career. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He collaborated with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash song Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and older brother are professional musicians. In interviews, Turizo has said that music is a must. As a child he learned to play the saxophone and as well as piano and ukulele. Despite initially wanting to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his career.
