Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") She is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of both classical and pop music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of this young artist as sweet and sharp and grit. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with many artists and producers such as Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 after the show by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia did her solo performance for the first time ever on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first woman to receive both awards.
